STEP 2
Canada Revenue Agency forms:

a) Print and fill out the T2050 Application to Register a Charity Under the Income Tax Act form from the Canada Revenue Agency web site http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/t2050/

• In Part 2, Q8, a) Legal name of parent organization,
  Enter “Society of Saint Vincent de Paul – National Council”
  
  
• In Part 2, Q8, b) Business Number of parent organization,
  Enter “132410671RR0001”
  
  
• In Part 2, Q8, c) Governing document, Certificate of good standing
  Supply a copy of the Letter of Aggregation
  
  
• In Part 3, Q11a Activities, Information about the activities of the applicant,
  Refer to your attached document Statement of Activities (from step 1a)
  
  
• In Part 3, Q11b Activities, Information about the activities of the applicant,
  Refer to your attached document SSVP Resolution (from step 1b)
  
  
• In Part 4, Q17- Financial information,
  Supply the latest completed year's financial statement. Both forms

STEP 3
Completion and mailing:

a) Send the completed package to SSVP National Council office. The complete package to consist of:

• Resolution Statement (signed by at least 3 officers)
• Statement of Activities
• Revenue Canada Application form T2050 (signed by 2 officers – suggest President and Treasurer)
• Copy of last available Annual Financial Statement for your Conference/Council
• Copy of your “Letter of Aggregation”

b) SSVP National Council will review the material, complete a statement letter confirming you are an accepted Aggregated Conference, or Council, and forward all documents to Revenue Canada for processing and the issuing of the Charity Business Number.
